The Ergatta app is designed to automatically search for and install updates to ensure you always have the latest features, improvements, and performance enhancements. No manual action is typically required. Your Ergatta will look for updates when connected to Wi-Fi and download and install them as needed. In most cases, updates happen seamlessly in the background and take less than a minute.
To update your software manually, please follow the below instructions:

Power on the touchscreen

Tap the upper lefthand corner of the "Profile Selection" screen 7-10 times

This will exit the Ergatta app for you, and take you to the touchscreen's home screen

When you're on the home screen, select Settings (the gear icon).

Select: System > Advanced > Software Update
Once this is done, your touchscreen will restart and the app update should launch.
