What options are there for delivery & shipping?

At checkout on the “Delivery and Installation” page you will have the option to select Ground Shipping (Self-Assembly Required) or Professional Delivery and Assembly. 

Ground Shipping (Self-Assembly Required) is free. Your rower will ship directly to you 5-10 days from purchase. Your Ergatta rower will be shipped in 3 boxes. Once your order has shipped, we will send you an email with the tracking information. Once you have received the rower you will be able to easily self assemble your rower. Opting for Self Assembly will not affect the warranty.

Professional Delivery and Assemblyis $249. Your rower components will ship from Rhode Island directly to our local delivery partner in your area. Our team will send you an email as soon as your order has been shipped. Once all components have arrived with our delivery partner, they will begin the assembly process; while they build the machine, they will also run key quality assurance tests. When the machine is ready and has passed our quality assurance checks, our delivery partner will contact you to coordinate delivery that works for your schedule.

How much does Ergatta cost?

Ergatta Rower:  $2,499

Our rowers are American products, handcrafted with premium, sustainably-sourced Appalachian cherrywood. Because of this, we do maintain the price to reflect the unit’s value. The Ergatta Rower includes everything you need to get complete, challenging and motivating workouts in the comfort of your home. Included in the purchase is our 17.3”, high-def touchscreen that immerses you in the digital experience.

Ergatta Membership: $29/month or $319/Year

A membership is needed to access Ergatta’s content and features.  A single membership includes unlimited profiles on the Ergatta, so the whole family can enjoy the experience. The Ergatta membership costs $29 per month. You also have the option to purchase an annual membership for a discounted $319 for the first year (one month free). After your first year of membership, the discount will expire and the annual rate will be $348.

Do I need a membership to use Ergatta?

A membership is not required to use Ergatta, but it is strongly recommended. A single membership includes unlimited profiles on the Ergatta, so the whole family can enjoy the experience.

An Ergatta membership includes:

• Access to Ergatta’s unique and growing library of game-based fitness workouts
• Fresh programming with 6+ new workouts added each week
• Real-time performance tracking and visualizations
• Personal dashboards with your workout history and fitness progress
• An engaged community of Ergatta members to connect and compete with
• Monthly challenges & opportunities to unlock charitable donations made on your behalf by Ergatta

Ergatta offers limited functionality without an active membership. You’ll be able to track your real-time workout metrics (split, SPM, time), but won’t have access to the features that make Ergatta truly unique and great.

What heart rate monitors work with Ergatta?

Ergatta is compatible with most heart rate monitors that connect via open Bluetooth. Supported devices that we have tested and that we can confirm are compatible with Ergatta include: Polar H9, Polar OH1Polar H10, Garmin HRM-DualWahoo Tickr, and WHOOP.

You’ll be prompted to pair your HRM before your workout begins. Make sure your HRM device is strapped on and powered on. Most chest-strap-based heart rate monitors will power on automatically when they detect they’re strapped onto your chest.

Heart rate monitors that require a PIN entry to connect (such as Apple Watch) via Bluetooth or ANT+ devices are not supported at this time, but are on our roadmap.

How do I clean the water in the tank?

The Ergatta requires little ongoing maintenance. In order to keep the water in the tank clean, all you need to do is add a purification tablet every 6 months. These are provided to you upon delivery and additional (free) tablets can be requested from our team.

You will not need to empty the tank.

How do I pair my heart rate monitor?

First check that your heart rate monitor is one of our supported devices. We currently support heart rate monitors that connect via open Bluetooth. Supported devices include: Polar H9, Polar OH1Polar H10, Polar Verity Sense (Optical HRM)Garmin HRM-DualWahoo Tickr,  WHOOP, the Coros Apex Pro Watch and the Scosche Rhythm+ HRM.

Heart rate monitors that require a PIN entry to connect (such as Apple Watch) via Bluetooth or ANT+ devices are not supported at this time, but are on our roadmap.

How do I connect to WiFI?

A strong and active internet connection is required to use Ergatta. Please follow the on-screen instructions to connect to WiFi or you may connect an ethernet cable to the Ergatta monitor. You may connect to 2.4gz or 5 gz.

We recommend placing your machine as close to a WiFi router or near a signal booster or extender.

My metrics look off/I'm not seeing any rowing data

If you’re experiencing any of the following issues when you use your rower:

• You’re taking strokes but not see any meters, split time, or stroke rate register

• You’re rowing with max effort but your speed isn’t moving as fast as you’d expect

Then there may be an issue with the sensor connection. Try our troubleshooting steps here or reach out to our support team.
