VARIETY IS KEY
Commit to a routine—then mix it up. Neuroscience shows that dopamine, the brain’s reward hormone, likes newness. Mix up the kinds of workouts you do, and you’ll have an evergreen source of inspiration and entertainment. PS: have you tried our new action game, Endeavor, yet? (pictured above)
START A TRAINING PLAN
Want to build strength, boost cardio endurance, or even rehab an injury...but don’t know where to start? We’ve got a Push Program (aka, training plan) for that. There are 50+ plans available, ranging from 1 week to 3 months. All are designed with workout variety and are calibrated to your exact fitness level.

SET A GOAL
Want to row 1 day per week? 3 days? 6? Whatever your target, our Goal Setting feature will keep you accountable and motivated, with weekly reminders and acknowledgements for weekly streaks.

CONNECT WITH THE COMMUNITY
You’re never rowing alone. Join our monthly and quarterly community challenges for group motivation. Plus, engage with the Ergatta Community on Facebook and Reddit, where you’ll meet fellow Ergatta members—and future Rivals.

JOIN A CHALLENGE
Motivated by a challenge? We host an Annual Challenge, daring members to row 500K, 1MM, or even 2MM meters in a single year. And our Monthly Challenges will support you along the way with structure and small wins. You can get a taste of them here.
LISTEN TO YOUR BODY
Above all, pay attention to your what your body needs. Try to do pre- and post-rowing stretches, and aim to give yourself at least 1 day of rest each week.
