Compete against your peers, outpace your past performances, or go head-to-head with Rowbot, a customizable pacing companion. Races range from short sprints to long tests of endurance.
In Ergatta Races, you are competing against other members of the community’s previous recorded times. We also offer Live Races 4 times a week (Not available on Concept2 Connection Kit yet).
THE SETUP
Races can be split up into segments with rest periods in between or be one extended segment. Every race includes a warm up. The shortest race is 1 minute. You can filter the races by time, distance, favorited workouts (you would have to favorite), rivals, completed or not completed.

CHOOSE YOUR COMPETITION
When you head to the starting line, you have three ways to compete:

The Community: Our intelligent matchmaking pairs you with 8 other members at your specific skill level based on their previously recorded times.

Race Against Yourself: Compete against you previous race times to see if you can beat your previous PR on that specific route.

Select Your Rivals: Hand-pick specific members of the community or your personal Rivals to see how you compare.
RACE OF THE WEEK
We offer a Race of the Week each week pinned to the top of the workout library. We feature top racers each week on our Instagram and Facebook Group. Once that week ends and the featured workout expires, it moves down into the regular race workout library and reverts to the standard leaderboard.
LIVE RACES
For those who crave real-time competition, we offer Live Races four times a week.
Unlike standard races where you compete against recorded times, Live Races pair you with members who are on their rowers at the exact same moment.

ROWBOT
Rowbot is your perfect match. Bring Rowbot to any Race—from short sprints to feats of endurance. Simply choose a workout, set your target split time, and then follow—or beat—Rowbot to the finish line. Whether you’re chasing PRs, keeping a steady pace in longer workouts, or even looking to warm up and cool down effectively, Rowbot will help you make the most of every meter.
OTHER THINGS TO KNOW

At the start of each Race there is a warm-up period. You can opt to skip if you’d prefer, but we recommend warming up to prevent injury.

There is a 10-second countdown before the race starts. You can start pulling the handlebar during the countdown to give yourself a boost before the race starts.

Keep an eye out for special "Biomes." Throughout the year, we release themed racetracks (Spring, Summer, Winter) to keep your scenery fresh.
