Ergatta’s mission is simple: we’re aiming to help people create sustainable fitness routines through motivating, game-based workouts. But that’s easier said than done; we know that people often find themselves in an endless cycle of feeling motivated one day and unmotivated the next, and discover that it’s incredibly difficulty to create and maintain a routine over time.
Our aim is to create a workout experience that’s fun, motivating, and sustainable—and one that definitely doesn’t feel like just another chore on the to-do list. We’ve found that for many people, fitness that replicates the feeling of team sports brings an incomparable sense of camaraderie, accountability, motivation, and fun. That’s why we started our highly popular Member Madness Challenges.
Held twice a year, Member Madness is a team-based challenge that brings the Ergatta community together in (mostly) friendly competition. Each round of Member Madness has a new theme and structure, keeping the competition fresh and ensuring that there’s a challenge for everyone. Some examples of past Member Madness Challenges include Fall Frenzy (a relay race), Echo Chamber (an Echo based points challenge), and The Ergatta Games (an Olympics-style multi-experience event).
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join Member Madness Challenges. Registration for each round is announced via email, Instagram, and our community channels on Facebook and Reddit. Once registered, you’ll receive further communications by email that outline the Challenge dates, rules, and your team information. Throughout the Challenge, members are encouraged to engage with one another in our Facebook community.
If you have suggestions for a future Member Madness round, feel free to email us at support@ergatta.com. We hope to see you for the next one!

We were both beginners when we bought our Ergatta. But, even after a few weeks I can tell I’m getting stronger and can row longer and more efficiently. It’s a great workout that you can fit in to any schedule. 10/10 would recommend!
Loving my Ergatta. I spent a lot of time researching rowers, and Ergatta came out on top for its simple but robust gamification, and, of course, the beautiful style, wood, and whooshing sounds. I've seen a lot of improvements in my fitness levels and can no longer use weather as an excuse to not exercise. My wife and I are both enjoying it so far.
