I recently purchased the Ergatta Lite water rower, and it has quickly become a cherished addition to my home and one of the best investments I have made in myself in well over a year.
The first thing that struck me was its beautiful, minimalist design. It truly resembles a piece of fine furniture, with an elegant and stoic presence that enhances the aesthetic of any room. The smell of the wood and the sound of the water create a visceral experience that makes each workout feel special.At 6'3", I was concerned about finding a rower that would fit me comfortably, but the Ergatta Lite fits me perfectly, even at full catch. The effort invested in both the machine and the programming is evident. The calibration feature ensures that workouts are always relevant and tailored to my fitness level, which is a fantastic touch. The variety of content available keeps me motivated and eager to return for more. At just one month of ownership, I have already rowed almost 30k meters. The programming is designed to help you progress and stay accountable, which I truly appreciate. I find myself looking forward to each rowing session, which speaks volumes about the quality of this machine.
However, there are a few areas where I believe improvements could be made. The stowaway dimensions should be adjusted to fit more easily into a closet with a 6'8" door. Additionally, it would be great if the tablet arm could pivot for exercises performed off the rower, such as those in the City Row courses. An extension restraint for the tablet arm would also be beneficial to prevent it from falling forward if not properly secured before stowing the rower vertically. I also wish the Ergatta app allowed for goal adjustments and provided form coaching for Android. Offering more wood species and finishes, as well as larger monitor options with built-in cameras for form coaching, would be fantastic enhancements. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my Ergatta Lite water rower. It combines form and function beautifully, making each workout a pleasure. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, aesthetically pleasing rowing machine.
