Split time is a measure of how long it takes you to row 500m. But it’s more than just a number. It’s the difference between you and the competition. It’s the difference between you today and you tomorrow. It’s an indicator of cardiovascular fitness, measuring your power, your endurance, and your progress over time. Simply put: split is all the difference.
SPLIT: THE DIFFERENCE (ONE WEEK & TWO WEEKS)
We’ve released two new Push Programs that are designed to get you working toward a faster split time in as little as 7 days. While changes don’t happen overnight, the workouts included will challenge your power, cadence, and endurance—all metrics that are key to lowering split. Each program begins and ends with a 500m Race, letting you measure your progress from beginning to end.
MEET THE DUO
SPLIT: THE DIFFERENCE (ONE WEEK) • TRIAL • 7 DAYS
This Push Program has all the makings of a great one-week challenge: a benchmark test, conditioning rows, sprint work, and a final 500m Race to mark your progress. Complete it once and move on to your next Push Program; or, keep returning to this one again and again to reap the benefits.
SPLIT: THE DIFFERENCE (TWO WEEKS) • TRIAL• 14DAYS
Here, we have a two-week version of our split-based training program. Over the 14 days, the workout durations climb a bit higher, increasing the challenge (and the potential reward). In this version, you'll also complete a mid-point 500m Race, which serves as a progress report leading up to your final 500m test.

The one time of day I can relax: working out on my Ergatta
I hate most forms of physical activity. But I don't think of my time on the Ergatta Lite as a workout. It's a time for Zen meditation. I transport somewhere else hearing the water and moving forward. Truly grateful for this machine.
Incredible rower! Love my daily workouts on it. I always look forward to my half hour to hour of rowing. It’s awesome exercise and has gotten me back into a regular workout routine. The different courses and challenges offered keep things very fun and interesting. Highly recommend.
This is just what I needed to get me back to rowing regularly. I really enjoy all the different options for workouts. It was easy to set up with my C2 rower. I only wish I had this sooner!
