Does the candidate I referred need to know I’m referring them, or can it be anonymous?

Yes, please make sure you have the referral’s permission before referring them for an open role. However, we will never share that information with anyone other than our talent team.

How do I submit a referral?

Please email referrals@ergatta.com with the candidates name, contact information, and the position you are referring them for. You can also cc bree@ergatta.com if you have any questions.

Is this a raffle, or does anyone who refers a placed candidate get a free rower?

This is not a raffle – anyone who refers a candidate who is hired during the contest is eligible for the free rower!

When will I get my rower if my referral is hired?

We will ship the rower 60 days after the candidate’s start date.

Can I refer the same candidate to more than one role?

No, each candidate can only be referred for one role. However, if we feel they are better suited for another open role on our careers page, we will handle accordingly.

Is there a limit to the number of candidates I can refer?

No, you can refer as many candidates as you’d like! However, rowers are capped at one per referee.

Can I refer a candidate for a role that’s not listed on your careers page?

Absolutely! However, only roles that are currently listed on our careers page are eligible for the free rower.

Don’t all Ergatta employees get a free rower?

Yep! And for a limited time, we are extending that perk to the friends and family who introduce us to our newest team members.

Do I have to pay for shipping?

Nope, shipping is on us!

Will you also be paying for the monthly subscription?

No, you will be responsible for the monthly subscription.

When does the referral challenge end?

The referral contest ends on December 17th. You can still submit referrals after the contest ends, but we’ll no longer be offering a free rower [note: that is the end date to submit candidates for the free rower; not candidate start date].

If I refer myself does that mean I get two rowers?

No, you’ll only get the one rower that comes with being an Ergatta employee [however, we also cover the subscription for all of our F/T team members].

Can I give my free rower to someone else?

Sure! As long as they live in the US.

What happens if I don’t want a free rower? Can I request something else?

If you don’t want a rower, you can opt to pick a charity and we will make a donation on your behalf!
