To turn on your touchscreen, press the power button on the back of the touchscreen. You’ll find the button on the right hand side if you’re sitting on the rower, or on the left hand side if you’re viewing the touchscreen from the back. To power off the touchscreen, hold the power button for 3 seconds until you see a “Shutting Down” dialog box. Your touchscreen will also automatically turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity. If your Ergatta shuts down due to inactivity, you can power the touchscreen back on by pressing the power button once.
After going through the set up tests on the touchscreen, you’ll be prompted to connect your Ergatta to the Internet. A strong and active Internet connection is required to access the Ergatta app. Please follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your WiFi network (you may connect to a 2.4gz or 5 gz). You can also connect an Ethernet cable to the Ergatta monitor, or connect via hotspot.
We recommend placing your machine as close to a WiFi router, signal booster, or extender as possible.
Once your Ergatta is connected to the Internet, you’ll be able to create an account. You can add an unlimited number of profiles on your Ergatta touchscreen for everyone in your household. Each profile that you create will need to be registered with a unique email address and username. Please note that usernames are visible to the Ergatta community, so be sure not to include any personal information.
Each profile will be unique to the user. Once you complete the calibration workout, the rower will calculate your personalized Intensity Zones, and you’ll be able to keep track of your workout history in your profile.
