INTRODUCING: WEEKLY GOAL PAUSE

Your goals should work with you, not against you. That’s the ethos behind our latest feature update: weekly goal pause. Now, you can pause your weekly rowing goal for 1-4 weeks, no questions asked.

NO ROWER? NO PROBLEM.

Whenever rowing isn’t in the cards, just set up a pause. Simply tap the goal setting widget on your rower’s touchscreen, then choose a duration for the pause. Your goal will resume automatically on the specified date. We’ll send you a reminder ahead of time, too.

Even during a pause, you can make progress toward your goal—because going the extra mile shouldn’t go unnoticed.

WHY WE BUILT THIS

When we launched goal setting, we included “streaks” as a way to celebrate when you hit your goal week after week. We also baked in the ability to change your goal whenever needed. So if you had a streak going, but you knew you’d be unable to row for a few days, you could lower your goal to, say, 1 day so you could get that one necessary workout in to keep your streak alive.

That allowed for some flexibility. But still, a problem remained. If you had a streak going but you had upcoming travel, or you got injured, or if any other of life’s curveballs left you unable to row for a little while, you would unfortunately lose your streak and have to start over from scratch.

We received lots of feedback from members requesting some type of solve for this. And after some deliberation and testing, our team delivered. Because at the end of the day, we want to recognize you for the days you show up—not punish you for the days you can’t.
