REPLACING THE FORWARD RISER WIRING

If the port for your patch cable becomes damaged and requires replacement the following steps can be followed. Note the below steps are only applicable to rowers with serial numbers before 600900.

1. Disconnect the sensor wire at the white connector beneath the top deck. You may need to remove the plastic wrap around the connection
   
   
   
   
   
2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws fastening the wire cover plate to the inside of the forward riser where the patch cable connects, then pull the wire through the forward riser to remove.
   
   
   
   
3. Feed the female end replacement wire through the forward riser, then thread onto the wire cover plate.
   
   
4. Re-fasten the wire cover plate to the forward riser using the screws removed in Step 2.
   
   
5. Re-attach the sensor wire to the sensor at the white connector beneath the top deck, as seen in Step 1.
